Hanaa ben Abdesslem is a professional fashion model from Tunisia. She got discovered when she signed herself up for a Lebanese TV-show, Mission Fashion, an equivalent of Project Runway. She became runner-up. A year later, she met an Arab woman, named Sophie Galal, who shared her views and ideas about changing, and exposing the true challenges of the modeling profession for the Arab world. Sophie Galal became her manager, and presented her to IMG in Paris.

She has walked in fashion shows for Vivienne Westwood, Givenchy, Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Ralph Lauren, Anna Sui, Oscar de la Renta, Narciso Rodriguez, giambattista Valli, Thierry Mugler, Hermes, Hakaan, Alexandre Vauthier, St. John, and Moncler Gamme Rouge, among others.
