This week Beauty Belle tries and tests... Urban Decay Supersaturated High Gloss Lipcolour
(£14 for 2.8ml, available from www.urbandecay.co.uk)

New for Summer! Urban Decay, the rock and roll styled make up brand, have been doing fantastic colourful, glide on eyeliners for ages but now they have released jumbo pencil lipcolour. In 5 bolds colours will these live up to the must have status of their eyeliner counterparts?

The brief: “Urban Decay Supersaturated High Gloss Lip Color is a creamy, long wearing and richly pigmented lip colour pencil. These innovative lipstick pencils give you rich, opaque and vibrant colour with a gorgeous high gloss finish in one easy to use, carry-anywhere pencil. With a truly all-in-one formula, these lip crayons give long lasting, rich lip colour without any feathering and also moisturise lips for a comfortable feeling and soft, supple look. In a range of bright, fun colours with creamy or sparkly finishes, these will be your new favourite lip colours!”

How to apply: Draw the colour directly on to your lips.

The pros? This jumbo pencil format of the product means that it is really easy to apply & you can get a really precise application. It has a creamy formula and is long lasting with a bold pigment but not too glossy. The range includes bright pinks and reds and two sparkly versions with micro glitter particles. These are super fun and look great on.

The cons? Although the pencil format makes it easy to apply it does mean that you have to buy the matching sharpener (The Grindhouse Duo Pencil Sharpener) which is an extra £7.

Super rating: 4/5 - Fun, bold & goes on like a dream.
