This week Beauty Belle tries and tests... Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser
($32.95 for 120ml, available from www.sukiskincare.com)
New boutique skincare brands pop up all the time claiming that their products are reveluotionary but are they really any different from the high street brands? Is it, with items like cleanser, a waste of money going for a fancy, natural product or is it just the same as the $6 version at your local shop? Well, I tried the award winning Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser by the brand Suki, who pride them selves on high preforming organic ingredients bridging the gap between nature and science. Can't wait to see!
The brief: “An award-winning, deep cleansing alpha hydroxy acid complexion rejuvenator for all skin types, except cystic acne & rosacea-prone skin. It features gentle alpha hydroxy acid (natural sugar), rice flour (non-gmo rice) & citric acid (lemongrass), it resurfaces skin, unclogs pores, exfoliates dead cells, and smoothes.”
How to apply: "1 - wet palms. 2 - massage between palms to activate foaming action. 3 - apply in circular motions into facial skin & décolleté, avoiding eye area. 4 - rinse & follow with suki® concentrated facial toner & moisturizer of choice. 5 - use 1x per day (am or pm) or 2-3 times a week depending on skin's sensitivity."
The pros? This formula literally feels amazing! With a gorgeous scent from all of the natural products that it's packed with it is just course enough to smooth and unblock your skin after one use without irritating it. Your skin feels instantly rejuvenated whilst looking fresher and perkier. The real beauty of this product is that it doesn’t leave your skin feeling either stripped and taught, or like there is a residue left, instead it actually feels like clean new skin. Plus it is suitable for Vegans.
The cons? It is pricey and they do say to follow up with more of their products which could leave a big dent in your wallet, but if they are anywhere near as good as this cleanser it would be worth it! Also a little tip; really make sure your hands are wet and not just damp when you apply the formula, otherwise it wont foam properly!
Super rating: 4.5/5 - A real must have with cult status potential, out preforms any high street cleanser.
