This week Beauty Belle tries and tests... Outback Organics Bush Balm
(£11.99 for 250ml, available from www.thepureemporia.com)

Whether you work in modeling or not, ingrowing hairs after a bikini wax are an unsightly and unwelcome side effect to hair removal. Reducing these leave the wax looking better and you feeling more confident. Can a cream get rid of them? Let's see...

The brief: “Bush Balm is a fragrance-free lotion applied immediately after intimate waxing to help reduce redness and soothe irritation. This creamy, intensely moisturising balm is great for men and women alike and quickly calms sensitive skin, making that ‘freshly plucked chicken’ look a thing of the past! Bush Balm contains cucumber and aloe vera to calm and cool, plus frankincense extract to take away the sting after waxing or shaving. Also great for the face and underarms.”

How to apply: Immediately after waxing or shaving, apply a thick layer to treated areas and tissue of any excess after 5-10 minutes. At home, massage into skin using clean hands, 2-3 times a day.

The pros? A visible reduction (existing ones won't disappear but you notice less and less new ones appearing) of in-growing hairs and bumpy skin after a couple of applications. So easy to use and smells quite nice. The beauty of this product is that it solves a problems that a lot of people have in a quick and easy step, no wonder it is creating such a buzz in the beauty community at the moment. There are add on products such as an exfoliator but you don’t need to use them. If you have to pick just one cream from the range then this is the one to choose.

The cons? It is pricey and they do say to follow up with more of their products which could leave a big dent in your wallet, but if they are anywhere near as good as this cleanser it would be worth it! Also a little tip; really make sure your hands are wet and not just damp when you apply the formula, otherwise it wont foam properly!

Super rating: 4/5 - A genuine problem solver.
