The brief: “Illuminates your darker side with the intense colour that highlights and enhances wherever it’s applied. Goes on wet but dries quickly, leaving a high-shine reflective finish that lasts all night. Use it on cheeks or on any other part of your body where you want to draw attention. Not for those who want to keep their night quiet.”

How to apply: Dab on your cupids bow, cheek bones and brow bones using the brush tip, then blend with a brush or with your fingers.

The pros? Easy to apply, blends really easily and a gorgeous subtle colour, that goes seemlessly over your foundation without clumping. It has great staying power, and does give you a charming summer glow with that added shimmer for a night time look. Plus, as usual, Illamasqua gives you a selection of colour options to ensure that you can grab the one that’s right for your complexion.

The cons? If your looking for high drama sparkle this isn’t for you, its more a subtle shimmer. Because it has a wet consistency it is harder to tell how much you have on until it dries so you sort of have to apply it in layers to get the desired affect.
