With summer approaching thick make up to hide a multitude of sins isn’t really an option, so its time to go back to basics and prep your skin, hair and lips to make sure minimal summer make up (a slick of mascara, cream blush, lipgloss and loads of suncream everywhere) looks as great as a full face of foundation, lipstick and the rest!

The brief: “An anti-aging lip treatment proven to repair, nourish, plump, and smooth wrinkles around the delicate lip area.”

How to apply: “Apply throughout the day and before bedtime. Can be worn alone or as an age-delay base. For ideal results and SPF protection, follow with Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15.”

The pros? Full of natural ingredients such as sea fennel to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles, orange extract to protect as well as moisturising cupuacu butter, plum seed oil and passionflower seed oil. This is the ultimate lip balm it leaves your lips soft, supple, full and hydrated. If you suffer from dry, cracked lips this is a real life saver.

The cons? It is quite an expensive lip balm and if you don’t suffer from particularly dry, cracked lips it probably isn’t worth the price for the difference it will make.

Super rating: 4/5 - A wonder product if lips are a problem area for you.
